Hello,
Hoped you liked SSV3 and can see why we ended there. I had originally planned this book to just be a smidge of Melody’s story, but I got a little lost in it and the Kim/Beatrix plot sort of snuck up on me. Either way, I’m very happy with where it ended up, but there’s more story to tell.
There’s this entire plot just at the tips of my fingers with Daeva and the growth of the monsters in the wild. Maybe she isn’t as crazy as everyone thinks.
But that will be book 4, expected to release on Jan 9th.
How’s everything else? Well, I’m getting into a writing and productivity spree that just can’t be stopped. I finished the move, the little one is back in daycare(getting me sick lots) and things are just a little more stable in my life. Now it’s time to lean in and crunch out those words.
I have an ambitious goal to write 3 books over the next 2 months. Right? I’m getting into crazy territory. But I want to see if I can’t get book 1 of my new series due out in Feb done early enough that I can get it edited and recorded by the new team of narrators to do an ebook/audiobook launch at the same time. It would be awesome to trial that, it’s all the rage for LitRPG and progression fantasy authors. They swear by it.
It’s ambitious and I have no idea what I’m going to do with myself if I actually get an entire book ahead in my schedule. Maybe I’ll take a day off. Who are we kidding? If I take time off, I just make new projects for myself. I have to stay busy or I’ll take the car apart without knowing how to put it back together. So we’ll just keep writing and try to ensure that you always have a new Bruce Sentar book on the 9th of the month.
Otherwise, Audio is going well. Lewis Alexander and Rozelyn Rader have officially started recording SSV1 and they aim to keep up a book a month cadence with me while Threet finishes out Dragon’s justice as well.
My manga is coming along. The first chapter is done! Woot, this takes a lot longer than I realized. Didn’t know that those big manga that release once a week have like teams of five artists. I 100% get it. I plan to do a kickstarter in the new year, because I don’t want to get the money to pay the artist, only for it to get caught up in this year’s taxes before I can pay them for the bulk of the work. Supporting my artists is important to me even if it means taking a little more risk and delaying the kickstarter while they keep working.
Anyway, that’s enough of my rambling, I better get back to writing if I’m going to meet this goal.
Please, if you enjoyed the book, leave a review.
