Afterword
Well, there’s book 4 of SSV. There’s been an endgame in mind for this series and we are rapidly approaching it.
Some fans have said go full Marvel and start escalating into bigger and bigger intergalactic threats or other dimensions. But I don’t want to extend a series just because it is doing well. That and as a reader, I heavily appreciate completed series. So, that’s where we are going. I’m unsure if I’ll get it done in 5 books or 6.
That and there is always a better series I’m working on just around the corner. I have 6 or so chapters of 3 potential series that I’m working on ironing out and making the characters.
I’m still learning lots as an author and I think I understand what made SSV good, so now I need to do it again, but make it different enough to be interesting. We shall see.
I put out Dungeon Diving 101 to replace Dao in my three series cycle and I have ideas for what will replace SSV and Dragon later this year.
All I have to do now is just keep on writing.
Life is good. I’m getting more efficient with my writing using dictation and scheduling by energy. Now I’m making more space for family time. When I need to, I’m finding myself able to write a few days ahead and take some time off. More than ever before, my monthly schedule feels more bearable. So, be prepared for more books.
