I had a blast writing this one. You fans have made it loud and clear you want more, and your excitement was infectious. The story stretched itself out more than I was expecting over this book. The series might go on a little longer than the planned trilogy. But I’m just excited to have Melody adjust to the mutations and get a glimpse of what that does to her, along with Point City, dealing with the new threat of Daeva and the heavily mutated super in New Haven.
I’m taking a month off, resting and recharging those creative batteries for what’s next. I thought I was going to return to Dao for book 4, but that is a little up in the air at present. On September 9th, I’ll be back with something though.
Even trying to take some time off is hard. I just want to write. That’s a good sign, though. I love what I now do for a living. It’s thanks to all of you readers.
So, I’m going to kick back and relax a little. We’ll see which story clamors loud enough to be my next book.
